Initial  Visit
Your initial visit with Dr. Leishman is a unique dental experience. He conducts a new patient interview to get to know you as a person. He takes time to learn what things are important to you. We want to know if there are things we can do to reduce anxiety, minimize treatment times, and work with specific scheduling. Dr. Leishman believes that people come first and that each patient deserves his full attention. We do not double book patients and expect them to wait on the doctor. We strive to see patients promptly, at their reserved appointment time, as we understand that your time is valuable.

Initial Oral Exam
The first complete exam includes a full series of x-rays, charting, periodontal probing, visual exam, TMJ evaluation, Bite analysis, muscles evaluation, oral cancer screening, intraoral photographs, cosmetic analysis (if desired). Dr. Leishman will review his findings with you and this includes looking at x-rays and photgraphs on a high resolution computer screen. Dr. Leishman will discuss with you his recommendations and suggest treatment options and alternatives. Dr. Leishman believes that each patient deserves a thorough exam and his patients really appreciate his attention to detail.
